Former Erie County Legislator Chuck Swanick will be holding his annual Christmas tree giveaway on Thursday.
From 9-1p.m. on Christmas Eve, volunteers will be on hand to help load free Christmas trees into cars in the back lot of the Phillip Sheridan School at 3200 Elmwood Avenue in the Town of Tonawanda.
An official says tree farms have done well this season, so there may be fewer trees available than usual.
