Plans for the former Freezer Queen plant on Buffalo's waterfront are moving forward.
Developer Gerry Buchheit went before the Buffalo Planning Board Monday to present his plans for the site. The $60 million, 23-story apartment building will include 197 units and two restaurants. Buchheit says the development will be an exciting addition to Buffalo's waterfront.
"I love the waterfront and felt that use of the land here where people can live and work and enjoy the Buffalo waterfront would be a great opportunity at this location," Buchheit said.
The Planning Board also held a public hearing on the plan Monday.
Right now there's no timetable for when the Planning Board will make a decision on the proposal.
