A peaceful protest calling attention to the Eric Garner case was held in Niagara Falls Monday night.
The group said now is the time to stand up for the right to be human.
"We want to be treated just as fair as everyone else the rights that we are provided under the law. No mother should be crying, no wife should be crying, no kid should have to be crying," said organizer Owen Steed.
Organizers are rallying in hopes of preventing these incidents from happening in the Cataract City.
