Gas prices continue to creep up, as more drivers hit the road for the spring and summer driving season, AAA says.
The national average price for regular unleaded gasoline is $2.42 per gallon. In New York state, the average is $2.54 per gallon. Here in Western New York, prices are a few cents lower than the state average, at $2.49 per gallon.
Prices are expected to continue to rise as refineries complete the switchover to the more expensive summer blends of gasoline, AAA says.
