BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) — Phoenix Police are trying to figure out how more than 5,000 pills, believed to be fentanyl, ended up inside a child's toy.
Authorities say the parents bought the Glo Worm doll at a thrift store for their young daughter, but they soon realized that the toy was stuffed with a plastic bag full of drugs.
The parents called police, who took the doll, and the bag full of pills.
It's still unclear how the Glo Worm ended up at the thrift store.
