A 32-year-old Grand Island woman was pronounced dead Sunday night at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center after a motorcycle crash on Ferry Avenue in Niagara Falls.
Investigators with the Niagara Falls Police Crash Management Team say the woman crashed at 8:20 p.m. Sunday night near the intersection of 19th Street and Ferry Avenue. Police report the woman somehow lost control of a 2003 Yamaha motorcycle, struck a curb and was thrown from the bike.
The crash management team is looking into how the woman lost control. She has not been identified.
