Grand Opening of new Erie Co. SPCA

You can get a look inside the new Erie County SPCA in West Seneca this weekend.  The organization it holding a grand opening Saturday, May 13th from 11:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m. at the Harlem Road location.

The public is invited to come to the clebration, which will include free cake for the first 250 people, as well as music and food trucks.  There will also be a photo booth for guests, and complimentary massages.  Guests can visit the different SPCA departments and ask any questions they have.

The 52,000 square foot facility is twice the size of the former building, sits on 10 acres, and cost $14.7 million.  The SPCA says it is a state-of-the-art facility with separate admissions and adoptions areas, and a vetrinary clinic.

The organization's president thanked the community for the support, which he says made the facility possible.
