A double-shooting on Humason Avenue last night has an 11-year-old boy in critical condition.
According to the Buffalo Police Department, there have been 19 homicides this year, up from 12 homicides this time last year.
Seventeen of the 19 homicides so far this year have been gun-related. Only one has been solved so far.
There are still 23 of 42 homicides last year that remain unsolved. All of these are related to gun violence. A total of 34 homicides last year were a result of being shot.
