The investigation into a head-on collision in the Town of Wheatfield continues Saturday morning. It happened Friday night at approximately 11:27 p.m.
Niagara County Sheriffs Office reports they received multiple 911 calls reporting two vehicles had collided head-on on River Road near Sunset Drive.
Officials say a 25-year-old man from North Tonawanda, traveling eastbound, appears to have crossed the center line into the path of a 68-year-old female from North Tonawanda, who was traveling westbound.
Frontier Volunteer Fire assisted in removing both drivers from their vehicles.
The drivers were taken to ECMC with non-life threatening injuries.
