A lot of your go-to beverages on store shelves are made at O-AT-KA in Batavia. And, the company is utterly in need of workers to support that demand.

The milk product manufacturer has 40 immediate openings.

O-AT-KA CEO Bill Schreiber said promoting within is one of the company's selling points. “It's just a place where you can come if you apply yourself if you are willing to learn new things you can get ahead pretty quickly.”

O-AT-KA produces coffee-based drinks, energy drinks and other beverages often found in a convenience store. All of the products can’t be mentioned by name for proprietary reasons.

It is a soup to nuts facility. From research and development, to batch blending, to packaging, it has openings in a lot of areas.

Entry level jobs start at $13.10 an hour. “We've got people that within 30 days have taken on more responsibility and increase their pay to $16 an hour. And the top wage at O-AT-KA approaches $30 an hour,” Schreiber explained.
