The Starpoint Central School District is in need of substitute teachers and will be holding a recruitment fair this week.
To be qualified, you must have a bachelor's degree or be a current candidate in an education program at a university/college.
If interested, you are asked to bring your driver's license and social security card, or passport to the interview. Also bring a copy of your certification, degree, or transcripts for your current education program.
Salary starts at $100 per day for certified teachers. On the 41st day that pay increases to $115. Non-certified teachers will be paid $85 per day.
The recruitment fair will be Thursday, August 16, from 8:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Starpoint Central School Board of Education Conference Room. That's located at 4363 Mapleton Road in Lockport, New York.
