Two women were injured Friday after a hit-and-run in Amherst.
According to Amherst Police, Kelsey Smolinski, 20, was hit by a car making a left turn onto Kenmore Avenue from Main Street. Smolinski rolled into Marie Destin, 61, who fell and injured her wrist and arm.
Police say Smolinski was taken to Sisters Hospital with head, neck and shoulder pain. Destin was taken to Kenmore Mercy for her arm injury. None of the injuries appear to be life threatening.
The car may be a silver Nissan Rogue or similar. The Amherst Police Department asks anyone who may have seen the incident to contact police at 716-689-1311.
