Layoffs are now looming for 35 people who work for HSBC on Walden Avenue in Depew.
According to a company spokesperson, those employees were given notice this morning.
HSBC says this is all part of a restructuring at the facility.
The company says qualified employees who were laid off are eligible for new positions that are being created in commercial and retail banking.
