New information is coming in about the circumstances surround the death of 24-year-old Thomas Krickovich. The Daemen College student from Lancaster was celebrating with his classmates when he fell to his death.
Krickovich plummeted from the fourth floor balcony at Pearl Street Grill & Brewery in downtown Buffalo on Saturday night. Police say that the fall was accidental. An autopsy listed the cause of death as blunt force trauma. Investigators said they are still waiting for toxicology results.
Before the party, Krickovich's Twitter account painted the picture of an excited young man, getting ready for a banquet for his graduate school program. He sent out chilling hashtags, #PrayforTommy and #prayforme, while tweeting about the party's open bar.
Krickovich was a graduate student in Daemen College's Physician Assistant Studies Program. The school released a statement, stating "we are deeply saddened to share the tragic loss of Thomas Krickovich."
"Daemen College is offering grief counseling and support services to those affected by this devastating loss."
Krickovich graduated from St. John Fisher College with a degree in communications and journalism. He was an athlete at Lancaster High School, where he graduated in 2009.
