Three Jamestown men were arrested after police say they found them with meth packaged to sell.
Police arrested 32-year-old Beau Jones Thursday, December 1st, after they suspected he was driving without a license. Inside the car police say they saw a suspicious package, so they had a State Police K-9 unit respond. Police say the package contained more than a pound of crystal meth. Jones was arrested on a number of charges including Possession of a Controlled Substance.
As their investigation continued, police say they stopped another car they thought might be connected to the crime. Inside that car police found 20-year-old Steven Crowl and 30-year-old Matthew Jones, as well as a safe with more crystal meth that was packaged to be sold. Both men were arrested on drug charges.
Police expect to make more arrests as they continue their investigation into illegal drug sales and trafficking in the Jamestown area. They're asking anyone with tips to call 483-Tips (8477).
