Job Description : Summary: Assembles products in accordance with established standards by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Use sewing machine to sew gloves / sleeves by applying over edging.
• Must change needles and thread as needed.
• Knowledge of threading the machine.
• Remove strings as needed.
• Perform visual inspections for defects.
• Verify product in bin to what is on the bin ticket before sewing.
• Maintain accurate record of completed work.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Team oriented with a positive work attitude.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends and scheduled physical inventory.
• Perform other duties if required.

Education and/or Experience
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Skilled in the use of sewing machine.
Language Skills
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
Mathematical Skills
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to read a ruler using fractions.
Reasoning Ability
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
