Katie's mom joined the morning show crew Monday to make some pierogi for Dyngus Day.
She used her grandmother's recipe, which makes stuffing using farmer's cheese, eggs, cinnamon and sugar. If you ask her how much of each to use, she'll tell you "to taste" but a good guide is to use:
-1 1/2lb Farmer's Cheese
-2 eggs to bind
-1 teaspoon cinnamon
-1/4 cup of sugar
You can add more sugar or cinnamon - however your family likes them! Then, fry in plenty of butter!
