The new Oishei Children's Hospital is seeing green...the good kind.
KeyBank is making a $300,000 donation to Kaleida Health to cover all "non-labor costs" for the upcoming move from Women & Children's Hospital of Buffalo to the new location on the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus.
Where's the money going? Transportation, food, and comfort kits for patients and their families.
Gary Crosby, First Niagara Foundation Board of Director's President, said, "We wanted to take the cost of the move off the table."
About 200 patients are expected to be moved throughout the day between the two hospitals, which are a mile apart.
The move is scheduled to take place on November 10th.
