Tonawanda officers picked up a Lewiston man outside a bar on Main Street early Thursday morning for an outstanding bench warrant.
Police say Felix Habimfura of Foxwood Drive tried to destroy two packs of cigarettes that contained powdered cocaine. The Lewiston resident also threw away three glassine envelopes, that also contained cocaine, acording to police.
Felix is charged with Criminal Possession of controlled substance, destroying physical evidence, an E-Felony and criminal possession of drug paraphernalia.
Police say the last warrant was for a previous cocaine possession charge.
