LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WKBW) — A Syracuse-based organization called Cuse Pit Crew is offering a $1,000 reward for information that might lead to the arrest and conviction of people responsible for the death of two dogs in Lockport.

Two small dogs a terrier and a pug, were badly beaten and appeared to have been set on fire or burned at some point. Both dogs were approximately 2 years old.
They were found inside trash bags along Wilson road in the Town of Lockport last Thursday.

The Niagara County Sheriff's Office was sent to the scene after being called by the town's animal control office. Animal Control had been called after a highway crew discovered the pair of white garbage bags, Thursday afternoon.

If you have any information on the abuse or disposal of these dogs, please call investigator Captain Bruce Elliott at (716)-438-3327.
