NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WKBW) — Niagara Falls police are investigating a fatal shooting.
Officials say around 6:40 p.m. Tuesday a 25-year-old woman was shot and killed in the area of 20th Street and Centre Avenue.
The woman was getting into a friend's car when she was shot according to a release, witnesses said they heard several gunshots. She was transported to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center where she later died.
No arrests have been made at this time, anyone with information is asked to call NFPD at 716-286-4553.
