DARIEN CENTER, N.Y. (WKBW) — The 30-hour Coffin Challenge at Six Flags Darien Lake is back for another year.
The contest will take place Friday, October 11, starting at 6:00 a.m. Six coffin dwellers will compete against each other for prizes. The top contestant will take home $600 and a 2020 Gold Season Pass, All-Season Fright Fest Maze.

A new haunted maze called "Corridors of Chaos" has been added to the mix for Fright Fest 2019. Families can enjoy a trick-or-treat trail and other activities during Thrills by Day. Chills by Night will feature zombies roaming around every corner, Halloween themed food and beverages and scare-free zones.
Fright Fest runs from Friday, September 27 and ends October 27. Admission is $39.99.
