Garden Walk Buffalo
One of the largest garden walks in the country is about to take place right here in the Buffalo. More than 65,000 guests from all across the region will be in the Queen City for Garden Walk Buffalo. You and your friends can gain some green thumb inspiration from the 400 urban gardens that will be on display this Saturday and Sunday. The garden walk runs from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. You can find a map of all the gardens you can check out here.
Walk Off Hunger
This festival is dedicated to helping those in need. Walk Off Hunger is family-friendly event that features a two-mile walk. All proceeds from the walk benefit the Food Bank of WNY. This walk will take place in Williamsville at Island Park Saturday. Festivities begin at 10:00 a.m. You can click here for more information.
Disability Pride Parade and Festival
Hundreds of people will be downtown Buffalo Saturday for the Disability Pride Parade and Festival. The parade will start behind city hall at 10:30 a.m. The festival will take place down at Canalside where dozens of vendors will be on hand. There will be accessible boat rides for people with disabilities from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Admission is free.
Downtown Murals Walking Tour
More murals are popping up all across downtown Buffalo. So why not learn more about the art and its creators on this walking tour? Some of the murals you'll visit include Misuta Chow's Dual Dragons as well as the George Washington and the Marquis de Lafayette murals. The tour costs $15 and begins in the lobby of the Hotel at the Lafayette Friday. Tour starts at 1:00 p.m. You can find out more information about the tour here.
Christmas in July
Santa is back in Western New York. Hey, Old Saint Nick can have a little fun every once in a while too. He'll be enjoying his time in the sun at The Pink Cow in Alden Friday. You and the family can play games and eat ice cream from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Sunsets in Buffalo
