BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — It doesn't matter where you travel this weekend. Fall is in the air and you can't deny it!
There's plenty of fall festivities and ghoulish activities for you to check out this weekend. Here's a list below.
Spirits With the Spirits
Meet some of Niagara Falls most famous residents from beyond the grave while enjoying a glass of wine Saturday. Tour the Oakwood Cemetery if you're brave enough from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The tour costs $30 per person, $50 per couple. This event is for people over 21. You can find more information here.
Paranormal Buffalo
Here's another event for brave souls. Tour some of Buffalo's most haunted places with experienced ghost hunters. The tour costs from $15 to $25 and happens all weekend. You can find a schedule of tours here.
Great Pumpkin Farm Festival
You can get a jump on fall festivities this weekend in Clarence. The Great Pumpkin Farm will officially open for the season Saturday at 10:00 a.m. If you can't catch all the rides and fun this weekend, don't sweat it. The Great Pumpkin Farmwill be open through Halloween.
Open Arms Rescue's Oktoberfest
This Oktoberfest benefits the cutest and furriest friends in Western New York. You'll be able to dance to German music and win some great prizes at the Avanti Mansion on Friday from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Last year, Open Arms Rescue of WNY was able to save the lives of more than 450 dogs. Tickets cost $20.
Graycliff Fall Fest
Spend an afternoon outdoors and take in the view from a house Frank Lloyd Wright built. More than 20 vendors, along with entertainment, will be at the Graycliff Fall Fest Saturday from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. There will also be live entertainment and food. Femi 5k for Breast Cancer
The Femi 5k for Breast Cancer honors all of the women who are battling breast cancer. It costs $25 to register for the race. The race begins at 10:00 a.m. Saturday. Runners will meet up at the Marcy Casino in Delaware Park. You can find out more information about the race here. All proceeds will go toward benefiting local organizations dedicated to breast cancer research and awareness.
Smithsonian Traveling Exhibition: Water/Ways
Did you know that 71 percent of the earth's surface is covered in water? Water impacts agriculture, transportation, our climate, and so much more.
