BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — It's the last weekend of summer.
Before you know it, the leaves on the trees will begin to change color and nature will begin to turn down the heat. So here are some events you can enjoy that are both outside and inside.
Niagara Falls International Film Festival
Filmmakers, actors and Hollywood veterans will gather in the Cataract City this weekend for the Niagara Falls International Film Festival. Join the industry professionals and aspiring actors as they watch classic films at the state-of-the-art Regal Cinema Complex. Proceeds from purchases at the film festival will go toward benefiting The Alyssa Justine Cowell Youth Foundation. You can find a schedule of events here.
Smithsonian Museum Day

Curtain Up! Buffalo

Borderland Music Festival
Spend your weekend in beautiful East Aurora and jam out to some great tunes. The Borderland Music Festival is happening at Knox Farm State Park Saturday and Sunday. Single day tickets cost between $70 and $75. You can see a full lineup here.
Reinstein Woods Fall Festival
The calendar may read summer-- but don't tell that to the folks heading out to Reinstein Woods Nature Preserve. Organizers will be holding its fall festival Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. You'll be able to explore interactive exhibits, nature play stations, live animals and crafts for kids. The Pumpkin Fiesta at Becker Farms
Up in Niagara County, you'll find plenty do do with the family at Becker Farms this weekend. Pick up a pumpkin before the official start of fall this Saturday and Sunday. Children can ride a pony, play in a jungle gym, watch goat races and more Saturday and Sunday. It costs $8 for kids and $5 for adults.
Sabres vs Leafs
Yes, it's preseason. But the Buffalo Sabres will play at home in front of a crowd for the first time this hockey season. The team will take on the Toronto Maple Leafs Saturday night. Tickets are going for as low as $7 on Stub Hub. Puck drops at 7:00 p.m.
