BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Another wave of federal funding is on the way to the USS The Sullivans.
Congressman Brian Higgins says he secured $490,000 from the federal budget to support preservation and repairs to the USS The Sullivans.
The announcement comes 79 years after The Sullivans first launched; commissioned on April 4, 1943, the shop went on to serve in the Pacific theater later that year.
