TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WKBW) — Spring is here and what better place to soak up the sunshine than at Old Man River. The restaurant opened for its 2019 season on Friday.

The locally renowned restaurant has served the area for over 30 years. Their specialty burgers, seafood shack, and live music are highlights of a Western New York summer.

"My family and our staff are geared up again this year to serve Western New York," says owner Frank Berrafato. "Our goal has always been to make sure your dining experience at Old Man River is pleasurable and casual. Where else can you go to appreciate 'Rhythms on the River' from our very talented local musicians and artists, while enjoying the scenery of the mighty Niagara river?"

This year, in addition to their traditional fan favorite menu, Old Man River is adding several vegan and gluten-free options.

Old Man River sits at 375 Niagara Street in Tonawanda, right across from Niawanda Park. You can't miss the iconic big, blue whale!
