BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — On November 3, the Albright-Knox Art Gallery will be closing for major renovations, but that doesn’t mean the public is being deprived of art. The museum has launched an art truck.
The art truck, made possible by a gift from BlueCross BlueShield of WNY, will be hitting the road in the community for the next two years.
The truck will bring art-making materials to schools, libraries, parks, senior centers and more across Western New York.
The truck’s first stop will be at the Community Market at the Delevan-Grider Community Center on October 12, from 8 a.m. until noon.
