On the website for the location the hours say "closed" for each day of the week and in bold beneath it says "restaurant is closed."
When calling the phone number listed for the location a prompt states "thank you for calling Chuck E. Cheese, this store has permanently closed. Please feel free to visit us online at chuckecheese.com to search for other stores near you."
The location on Milestrip Road remains open at this time.
The chain filed for bankruptcy in June.
The Amherst location was under scrutiny for a period of time after two reported violent incidents, one in April 2018 and another in June 2018.
