AMHERST, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Amherst Police Department is offering families a way to occupy their time today, and they could win a prize for it.
The department posted a call for artists on Facebook Tuesday morning. It's inviting kids and adults to participate. Artists can design a current or past design of the Amherst Police Department patrol car, or design their own version.
The submissions will be sorted into age brackets: elementary, middle, and high school, and a separate category for people over 18 years old.
