AMHERST, N.Y. (WKBW) — A 10-year-old bicyclist was struck by a vehicle near UB's North Campus Wednesday morning.
Police say the crash happened just before 9:30 a.m. in the area of Millersport Highway and Hartford Road.
The bicyclist was struck by a female from Amherst and suffered a head injury and was taken to Oishei Children's Hospital.
No information was given on the victim's condition, police did not release the identification of those involved.
UB Police tweeted, asking drivers to use caution and asked them to take a different route to the campus.
