BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Amy’s Place, a staple in Buffalo’s University Heights neighborhood since 1981, is now up for sale.
Owner Greg Kempf, who has owned the Lebanese and American restaurant for the past 27 years, made the announcement on Facebook. The Main Street eatery has been temporarily closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Kempf says he’s ready to turn the page on a new chapter in his life, but he wants Amy’s Place to stay open under new ownership.
“I am more than willing to teach the buyer/buyers the recipes and guide them through the day to day operations,” Kempf posted online. “The continuation of this ‘legacy’ is important to me.”
