VILLAGE OF BARKER, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Barker Public LIbrary is now just days away from opening its temporary location.
Back in January, the library and Village Hall burned down, taking with it decades worth of data. Days later, the NIOGA Library System started a Facebook fundraiser to help the library rebuild.
Now, according to the library's Facebook page, it's set to open Monday, April 8 at 8673 Church Street, under its normal hours. They are as follows:
- Monday and Friday: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
- Tuesday and Thursday: 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.
- Saturday - 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
- Wednesday and Sunday: Closed
The Barker Public Library thanked everyone who helped out in the Facebook post below.
