ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WKBW) — Star Bills Quarterback Doug Flutie was in Orchard Park this weekend to be honored as a Legend of the Game. While in town, he stopped by the Field House to meet hundreds of fans.
"I got to meet my favorite player growing up, Doug Flutie. It's like a dream come true," said Branden Winford, life-long Bills fan.
He signed Flutie Flakes boxes and t-shirts for more than two hours on Sunday.
"Seeing the fans react the way they've reacted over the past 48 hours has been amazing," said Flutie.
Money earned from the meet and greet will go to the Flutie Foundation. Flutie was honored to receive so much support from Bills Mafia.
"Being considered a legend with the Buffalo Bills at the stadium here, it's pretty amazing. I don't think of myself that way...it's pretty flattering," said Flutie.
Flutie also got the chance to meet with QB Josh Allen before game time.
