BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo Police Department was asking for the public's help, after a car was stolen with a 9-year-old boy in the back seat.
The car is a newer blue Mazda 6. The license plate is JPN6991. It was last seen in the area of Orleans and Lasalle at around 8:30p. That's near the intersection of Bailey Avenue and Kensington Avenue.
BPD is investigating a car that was stolen at 8:30pm tonight from the area of Orleans and Lasalle with the keys in it and running with a 9 year old boy in the back seat. The vehicle is a newer blue Masada 6 with NY plates JPN6991. If anyone sees this vehicle, call 911!

Not longer after sending the alert. The child was found. BPD says they are still looking for the stolen car.
Update: The child from the stolen vehicle has been located safe and sound. The vehicle is still outstanding.
