BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Bradley Cooper, Guillermo del Toro, and crew members of Nightmare Alley stepped off set on Wednesday night to enjoy an Italian meal at the popular Osteria 166 on Franklin Street in downtown Buffalo.

Restaurant owner Nick Pitillo tells 7 Eyewitness News that his staff told him Cooper and del Toro were "amazingly nice."

Pitillo says they ordered Nani's Raviolis, named after Pitillo's 82-year-old mother.

"They asked us to personally thank Nani for making the raviolis," said Alyssa Sumers, Osteria's General Manager.

Nani usually comes into the restaurant on Thursdays to hand-make her famous raviolis, but she came in a day early just in case the crew stopped by, Sumers said.

Production of Nightmare Alley has been mostly centered in downtown Buffalo since the cast and crew arrived in Western New York this week.

"Grazi Noni!," producer Miles Dale wrote on the menu.

Cooper wrote "thanks for a great meal!" on the menu next to del Toro's signature and caricature drawing.
