BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Late Monday, Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown announced The Broadway Market will be closed to seasonal vendors for the Easter season amidst the Coronavirus outbreak.
The Broadway Market will be open for takeout only with its permanent year-round vendors.
Mayor Brown says the Easter Sneak Peek weekend which was previously scheduled for Saturday and Sunday March 21 and 22 is canceled.
The Broadway Market has 40 year round vendors. It's been Buffalo staple since 1888. Every Easter season thousands of people flood the market looking for their Easter dinner staples.
The market is open 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
