BUFFALO, NY (WKBW-TV) — Hailey Glynn has been a first grade teacher for four years and just recently became a children's author. She wrote and illustrated a timely tale called When Virona the Corona Came to Town.
Hailey wrote the story with her young students in mind saying "I can't even imagine how they must be feeling being ripped away from their routine, their friends, everything that is normal and consistent."
The book follows main character MaryEllen as she works through the challenges of the pandemic. Hailey says "It deals with big and little feelings kids have had during this time."
The book has received more than nine-hundred favorable reviews on Amazon and Hailey gave a copy to each of her students. She says the kids and their parents loved it.
