Buffalo man facing murder charge in connection with 2018 shooting

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A Buffalo man was virtually arraigned Wednesday on one count of murder in the second degree and one count of criminal possession of a weapon.

The Erie County District Attorney's Office says 23-year-old Sidney Watson was allegedly involved in the fatal shooting of 36-year-old Paris Warren, Jr. on Genesee Street near High Street on June 2, 2018. Warren, Jr. died at the scene.

Watson is scheduled to return to court January 5, he was remanded without bail.
