BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A Buffalo man has been sentenced to 18 years to life in prison for the murder of his wife.
47-year-old Allen Kazmierczak shot and killed his wife, 52-year-old Melissa Kazmierczak, inside their home on Stanton Street on August 4, 2019, according to the Erie County District Attorney's Office.
Emergency responders say they were told by the man that he had shot his wife. Authorities then found the victim in the bedroom.
He pleaded guilty to murder in the second degree in October.
