Buffalo police investigating afternoon shooting

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Buffalo police say a man was injured in an afternoon shooting Wednesday.

According to police, a man with a gunshot wound arrived at Kenmore Mercy Hospital in a private vehicle.

Investigators say it is believed the shooting happened around 4:45 p.m. near Niagara Street and Ontario Street.

Police say the man's injuries appear to be non-life threatening.
