Buffalo police make arrest in connection to shooting on Stockbridge Avenue

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Buffalo police announced an arrest has been made in connection to a shooting on Stockbridge Avenue.

Officers were called to the 500 block of Stockbridge Avenue just after 1:30 a.m. on December 23.

Police said the suspect, 37-year-old Terrence Coleman, allegedly entered the home of a female victim violating an order of protection, and allegedly began hitting the victim. Police said a man intervened and he was shot during the altercation.

Coleman was charged with second-degree attempted murder, first-degree assault, first-degree criminal contempt, second-degree menacing, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
