BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) — Some organizations have had to get creative to raise money during this age of COVID-19 here in Western New York.
The Be Their Voice dog rescue held a car wash Saturday at the Autozone location on Walden Avenue in Depew.
People could get their car washed for a donation that goes to help the group and its mission to help rescue dogs, and provide veterinary care for the animals.
Many of the organization's normal fundraising efforts have been canceled because of the pandemic.
The group was hoping to raise at least $500, but organizers say they easily surpassed that goal and thanked everyone for all the support.
