BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — We all know how generous the Bills Mafia can be, but now, fans from around the NFL are chipping in to help a local hospital's mission to save kid's lives.

Coming into week 17, the Indianapolis Colts needed to beat the Jacksonville Jaguars, and have either the Browns, Ravens, or Dolphins lose in order for Indianapolis to make the playoffs.

Cleveland and Baltimore both won, but the Bills beat the Miami Dolphins 56 - 26.

That loss pushed the Colts in, so fans decided to say "thank you" to Buffalo in an amazing fashion.

Colts fans donated thousands to the Oishei Children's Hospital "Patricia Allen Fund." The fund was set up after Bills fans donated in droves in memory of Josh Allen's late grandmother, who passed away earlier this season. These donations have pushed the fund to nearly $1.1 million dollars raised in the past two months.

The Bills host the Colts on Saturday, January 9, at 1:05 p.m. in the AFC Wild Card round.
