BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Right now, more than ever, our neighbors in Western New York are in need as our communities navigate the coronavirus outbreak and the financial distress it has brought to so many families.

At 7 Eyewitness News, we're teaming up with Retro Buffalo to help FeedMore WNY serve more than 135,000 people who rely on its services.

Families are in need.

FeedMore WNY (formerly the Food Bank of WNY and Meals on Wheels of WNY) is working tirelessly to fill the urgent need for additional food, funds and volunteers as a result of the COVID-19 crisis. FeedMore WNY has seen 500 more clients sign up for home-delivered meals since COVID-19 appeared in our community.

Right now in Western New York, local children are out of school, and some have lost the stability of school lunches as a result. In addition, their parents and caregivers may be losing their jobs or losing hours at work. There is an urgent need to help these families.

Here's how you can help.

Starting now, $7 (100% of the proceeds) from each #BuffaloStrong shirt sale at retrobuffalo.com will go directly to FeedMore WNY.The design is available as a t-shirt, a women's v-neck, a tank top, and a hooded sweatshirt. Shirts are also available through Chiavetta's and at all four Dash's locationsin Western New York.
