BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Buffalo teen who was charged in the triple shooting outside of the North Buffalo Community Center was arraigned in State Supreme Court Wednesday.

18-year-old Josue Bermudez is facing one count of Murder in the Second Degree, two counts of Attempted Murder in the Second Degree, two counts of Attempted Assault in the First Degree, and one count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree.

According to Erie County District Attorney John Flynn, Bermudez shot and killed 17-year-old Deron Allen on March 8, 2019. Bermudez is also accused of shooting and injuring two other teens at the scene.

The deadly shooting prompted a city-wide investigation. Buffalo Police say they were able to make the arrest with help from surveillance footage from neighborhood cameras.

Bermudez was arrested on March 29, 2019 and arraigned in Buffalo City Court.

He was remanded without bail and will return to court on June 10, 2019 for a pre-trial hearing.

If convicted, Bermudez faces a maximum of 75 years to life in prison.
