BUFFALO, N.Y. — EPIC's Baby Expo is returning to Downtown Buffalo for its 6th year. It's a unique experience for parents to meet with providers and organizations to learn more about parenting as they navigate the early stages of their child's life.

Providers and organizations will be putting together presentations on different topics including safe sleep for newborns, early literacy and tips on necessities for babies. These are just a select few of the presentations attendees will have the chance to hear.

The expo is expected to have around 250-300 families attend. Executive Director of EPIC Tara Burgess says the growth of the event has been exciting for her team and feels amazing to be offering important lessons to parents.

"One of the best things that I hear is you know is an expectant mom turn and talk to her partner or a friend who’s going with her or dad will say I didn’t know that, did you realize that," Burgess said. "Just kind of overhearing those little statements where you know we’ve provided some great information and tips and tools for things that families really need is super gratifying”

The event is on Saturday, September 30th from 10AM-2PM at the Buffalo Downtown Public Library. If you're interested in attending, you can find more information about the event and register here. Walk-ins are allowed, but you're highly encouraged to register.
