BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A suspected child predator has been busted in Buffalo.

On Thursday afternoon, the U.S. Marshals Service announced the arrest of John Charles Isaacs. The 52-year-old is wanted by the Staunton Police Department in Virginia. He's facing several counts of child rape, forcible sodomy of a child and cruelty to children. Investigators say these alleged incidents span a number of years. It is also alleged that Isaccs would make video recordings of his victims.

On Wednesday, the U.S. Marshals Violent Felony Task force tracked this suspected predator to an apartment in South Buffalo where he was arrested. Isaccs is currently being held at the Erie County Holding Center awaiting extradition to Virginia.
