KENNEDY, N.Y. (WKBW) — New York State Police say a Kennedy man has been arrested for ten counts of promoting child pornography.
Authorities say they received an anonymous cyber tip that an IP address, later determined to be 69-year-old John Lewis, had uploaded child pornography.
Following an investigation and a warrant, troopers found that Lewis was in possession of images of child porn.
Troopers arrested Lewis and transported and processed him at the State Police Headquarters in Jamestown.
Lewis was released with an appearance ticket and is expected to appear in Town of Poland Court at a later date.
