BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Femi Secrets was one of the winners of 2017’s 43 North startup competition.
CEO Danielle Jackson moved her operation from Atlanta to Buffalo, and since then says her company has grown to new heights.
Originally sold in retail stores, the women’s panty company specializes in products for a woman’s cycle or for women who deal with incontinence.
In 2018, Femi Secrets went entirely to e-commerce and saw a 200% increase in sales.
It’s best selling product is its monthly subscription box which arrives and is said to supply a woman with all she needs for her monthly periods.
Now, the company is partnering with Wegmans to be sold in stores again for quicker access to customers.
Jackson’s efforts to being the best quality service has created the opportunity for her manufacturing operation, which is currently overseas, to move to the states.
Buffalo’s East Side to be specific. Where Jackson is hoping to bring between 100-120 jobs in the next 3 years.
Jackson said she is not only working to grow her business, but her footprint on this community, as well.
Since being here in 2018, Jackson is already in her second year running the Femi Secrets 5K run/walk.
It’s taking place this Saturday, October 5 at Hoyt Lake at 10 a.m.
